Effective Date: June 10, 2026
Last Updated: June 10, 2026

Thee Clean Standard LLC (“Thee Clean Standard,” “TCS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or book a service with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Because the services we provide are personal in nature, we take discretion and data protection seriously.

By using our website or booking a service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Who We Are

Thee Clean Standard LLC is a men’s body hair removal studio located in Petersburg, Virginia. If you have any questions about this Policy or your information, you can reach us at:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Mailing address: 132 North Sycamore Street, Suite 52, Petersburg, Virginia 23803

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

  • Contact form submissions. When you fill out a form on our website, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
  • Booking and appointment information. When you book through our scheduling system, we (and our booking provider) collect your name, contact details, the services you select, appointment dates and times, and any notes or preferences you choose to share.

Payment information

We use a third-party booking and payment provider to process appointments and payments, and payments are handled through Stripe. When you pay, your payment card details are collected and processed directly on the provider’s secure systems. We do not store your full payment card number. We may receive limited transaction details such as confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and the date.

We use Stripe for payment processing and related business services. Stripe may collect personal data, including through cookies and similar technologies, and the data Stripe collects may include transactional data and information identifying the devices that connect to its services. Stripe processes this information in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including:

  • Your IP address and approximate location
  • Device and browser type
  • Pages you view and links you click
  • The website or ad that referred you to us
  • Date and time of your visit

See Section 4 for more detail on cookies and tracking technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and contact-form messages
  • Schedule, confirm, manage, and follow up on appointments
  • Process payments and maintain transaction records
  • Send appointment reminders and service-related communications
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website
  • Measure the performance of our advertising and understand how visitors find us
  • Show relevant ads to people who may be interested in our services
  • Comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations
  • Protect the security and integrity of our business and website

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including advertising pixels, to operate the site, understand traffic, and support our marketing.

Advertising pixels and analytics. We use tools from advertising and analytics providers, which may include Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. These tools place a small piece of code on our website that allows the provider to collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and actions you take. This helps us measure the results of our advertising and show our ads to people who may be interested in our services, including to people who have previously visited our website. These providers may combine the information collected on our site with information they already hold about you.

Google advertising and remarketing. We use Google advertising products, including remarketing, to show our ads to people who have previously visited our website.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on websites across the internet.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your past visits to our website. Because these cookies are set by Google and other vendors rather than by us, blocking cookies from our website alone will not stop these ads.
  • You can opt out of Google’s use of cookies for personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings (My Ad Center), and you can opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (optout.networkadvertising.org).

You can usually control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not function properly if you do. For information about opting out of interest-based advertising, see Section 6.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers. We share information with companies that help us run our business, such as our website host, our booking provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and our email and communications tools. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. As described in Section 4, advertising and analytics providers receive information about your activity on our website through cookies and pixels.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to enforce our agreements, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our clients, staff, or others.
  • Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or transferred, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Your Advertising Choices

You can limit interest-based advertising in several ways:

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
  • Google: Adjust your settings through Google’s Ads Settings.
  • Industry opt-outs: Visit the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
  • Browser controls: Many browsers offer a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal or settings to block or delete cookies.

Opting out of interest-based advertising does not mean you will stop seeing ads; it means the ads you see may be less relevant to you.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access to the information we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, and to opt out of certain advertising activities.

Virginia residents. Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, eligible Virginia residents may have the right to confirm whether we process their personal data, access and correct that data, request deletion, obtain a copy, and opt out of processing for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond consistent with applicable law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will inform you of any action taken.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain appointment and transaction records, comply with our legal and tax obligations, and resolve any disputes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website and social media profiles may link to other websites we do not operate, including our booking provider and our Instagram and Facebook pages. This Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Significant changes may be communicated through our website or other appropriate means. Your continued use of our website after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
